DESCRIPTION:Madde - 1: Metal | This edition of the Madde - 1 material workshop focused on metal.\r\n\r\nThe first session of the two-part workshop took place at İskele on Saturday\, 16 April\, under the guidance of Osman Dede. Through Dede’s presentation\, participants learned about different types of metal and their properties\, as well as their production\, diversification\, classification and areas of application.\r\n\r\nThe second session\, designed to offer participants hands-on experience with the material\, took place on Saturday\, 30 April\, during a visit to Osman Dede’s studio. Various metalworking practices and examples of metal being used in combination with other materials were examined.\r\n\r\nParticipation was limited to 15 people\, and the application deadline was Monday\, 25 April\, at 17.00.
