Cami Muhammad Edernawi Efendi was an Ottoman judge 1649-1723. He wrote a manuscript called "Fiqh Al Umran" that was published by the lecturer, Dr. Mustapha Ben-Hamouche. It was used in many Ottoman cities as a manual for courts and masons regarding the rules of construction, mosques, houses, streets and cities. It also helps with understanding the structure of Islamic architecture.
